History of Ghazali Education Trust

Ghazali Education Trust (GET) was established in 1995 by a small group of people. Some of them were professors at the University of the Punjab, Lahore. Hafiz Muhammad Idrees was the chairman, Mian Maqsood Ahmad the vice chairman, Professor Ishtiaq Ahmad Gondal general secretary, Syed Waqas Anjum Jafri finance secretary and Aamir Mehmood Cheema and Zafar Hussain Khan were the members.

GET was registered under the Trust Act of 1982 as a non-profit, non-governmental organization with its head office in Lahore, Pakistan. The trust started its activities with limited resources, but with the staunch faith in Almighty ALLAH, and untiring efforts of its enthusiastic, dedicated and committed team. GET is continuously expanding its services and now it encompasses a wide range of program in the field of education. The Trust is now operating in five key areas, including rural education, women education, human resource development, financial aid and educational services.
